When people talk about New York, the first places mentioned are often Times Square, the Empire State Building, or Broadway. But there is so much more to the city besides the crowded tourist destinations of Manhattan. As a Brooklynite myself, I know my borough needs some more love. From the playoff basketball team that is the Brooklyn Nets (can’t say the same about the New York Knicks), to the 526 acres that make up the spectacular Prospect Park, and the abundance of shopping and dining, everything is better in Brooklyn! Maybe that’s why it is the most populated borough in New York City, with a population of over 2.5 million, but still, a lower population density than Manhattan.
